Making a difference in the world
Darla Dunn, 15-year-old sophomore at Raytown (Missouri) High School, was so moved by being part of a church mission work team to post-Katrina Gulfport, Mississippi, that she decided to walk in Kansas City’s Heart of America CROP Hunger Walk.
To solicit others’ participation and support, Darla (pictured with other walkers,

in the United States that need help and I have heard about the need outside
our country... I really want to get out there and make a difference in the
world. I discovered the CROP Hunger Walk is one of those ways.”
